Language
Official language of the VIMation Journal is English. Therefore all articles have to be submitted in English.
Style
VIMation Journal offers the possibility to hand in scientific articles and descriptive ones, which can be understood by a broad audience. Also pictures are desired to make the articles more vivid.
Format
The Papers have to be submitted as electronic plain text documents (*txt) with marks for figures and headings (e.g. ">>Figure 1<<", "1.1") or as a Microsoft Word file. Figures have to be submitted as tif-, jpg- or eps-files (min. 300dpi).
However, an ADDITIONAL submission of PDF or DOC (Word) Format for easier review is possible (in this case, please remove your name from the document).

Length
- Scientific articles: Max. 3200 words; max. 10 figures/tables
- Short articles: Max. 600-800 words; max. 4 figures/tables
- Mission statements / Industrial contributions: Max. 600-800 words, describing present innovative ideas, concepts, products or manufacturing processes in industry; max. 4 figures/tables

Review Process
Each paper is reviewed by at least three independent experts in the field. Contributions are made anonymous before the review. Comments for the authors by the reviewers are sent to the authors after finalization of the review process.
